Welcome to your section of the Pupils First Website.

The Pupils First project started in April 2003 and included 7 of Sunderland's schools:

• Hylton Red House School
• Witherwack Primary School
• Carley Hill Primary School
• Southwick School
• Pennywell School
• Havelock Primary School
• Pallion Primary School
• Quarry View Primary School

The aim was to ensure that these school's met the mininum standards of education set by the government.

The 'Grow Your Own' strand of the Pupils First Project has been developed to assist adults who wish to access training or employment opportunities.

In time this section will include advice on how to complete a c.v and an application form. You will also be able to find out about the success of Pupils First and the activities taking place in a school near you.
